Jason Loucas

I’m a little behind… just stumbled upon Jason Loucas‘ interior shots…wish I knew who styled these… and if they could come style my house.  :)

Mark Roper

Some nice interior photos by Mark Roper:

Dog Bed

One of my many frustrations with dogs beds has been the lack of a washable cover—once a store-bought dog bed gets too dirty, you cannot just throw it in the wash. So this weekend I made a dog bed (used the stuffing from two old throw pillows), and made a washable cover from a table cloth I found on sale.

I didn’t want to use a zipper, so I created a pocket to slide the interior pillow into. Ahh… a clean dog bed (and cover).

Dream Room

My dream room:

Photos by Todd Selby.  I find his blog really interesting, as I love the idea of taking portraits of people in their homes/living spaces… I think it tells a lot about a person and for some reason I find real interiors fascinating and full of character.

Find the floor/ceiling of the house below really interesting.  Also by Todd Selby.

Katya de Grunwald

Quiet photos from London-based photographer, Katya de Grunwald:

David Loftus:

I also really like how his website is organized (by mood or genre).

Sofa Portraits

Love these sofa portraits by photographer Colin Pantall:

Color

Since I decided I cannot have everything be white (er… two dogs, end (-ish) of rehab), I am trying to be inspired by color.  Like these two from Living Etc.:

Camping

I just found out that I love camping… in a cabin. For years I grew up going camping in a pop-up camper every summer, and while I liked it as a kid, as an adult I have grown to love the comforts of a private bathroom, shower, and a bed. Couple of pictures from our trip.

Debi Treloar

Debi Treloar did the photography for Eat Drink Live, which I’ve been looking into getting. Her photos are calm, and her subject matter reminds me a little bit of Ngoc Minh Ngo (who I love).
