I love the photos on your site.
I found it via Automatism.
I was looking at the NY boarding house picturesand was reminded of the railings in my house which dates from 1892. It took me a while to realize that the posts leading to the third floor were all different. Probably one became loose or broken and were replaced by what was available. It’s a very cool touch.
