Inspace Inspiration

I hadn’t been on Inspace’s website in a long time, but Nathan and I are in the middle of trying to figure out what to do with our front room, so I looked them up for some eye candy.  Problem is, the room is long and narrow (once was divided by pocket doors), with tall ceilings, and unfortunately, we have two full size couches instead of a couch and some chairs.  We toyed with the idea of moving the *dining room* area to the front by the mantel (like they did below), but I think we might move it back.

Love these two locations:

I have a layout like this, too, and the only solution I’ve been able to come up with is to have the sofa facing the fireplace. If the room were a few feet wider, I’d be able to turn the sofa and chairs to face each other (as in the last photo), but alas…the room is too narrow.

We’ve been looking at photos of your house for ideas and I think that’s what we’re doing… thanks for the inspiration!

I love the dark mantle in the first photo. It adds alot of drama to the lightness of the room. B
