Babies Rooms

In September Nathan and I found out I was pregnant, which was pretty exciting for us.  As a little congratulations gift, my sister just bought me the book Babies Rooms: from Zero to Three, by Judith Wilson, and I absolutely love it!  It is filled with great images of a variety of styles, but all great in design.

Amy Butler

Just ordered loads of fabric from Amy Butler… Daisy Chain line… love it!

Dream Home

This is the home of Neil Burger and Diana Kellogg… it is also my dream home.  Jesus!  I’ll take one please.

It was a former cold-storage warehouse that they rehabbed in New York (read about it here).

Jason Loucas

I’m a little behind… just stumbled upon Jason Loucas‘ interior shots…wish I knew who styled these… and if they could come style my house.  :)

Dog Bed

One of my many frustrations with dogs beds has been the lack of a washable cover—once a store-bought dog bed gets too dirty, you cannot just throw it in the wash. So this weekend I made a dog bed (used the stuffing from two old throw pillows), and made a washable cover from a table cloth I found on sale.

I didn’t want to use a zipper, so I created a pocket to slide the interior pillow into. Ahh… a clean dog bed (and cover).

Photos by Todd Selby.  I find his blog really interesting, as I love the idea of taking portraits of people in their homes/living spaces… I think it tells a lot about a person and for some reason I find real interiors fascinating and full of character.

Find the floor/ceiling of the house below really interesting.  Also by Todd Selby.

I also really like how his website is organized (by mood or genre).
