Found it!

Photo on left via inspace locations; Right via YLighting

I have been coveting this light fixture for forever and I finally came across it on YLighting, right here!  Only hitch is that it’s not a plug-in pendant… hmm…. is it illegal to convert a hardwired pendant into a plug-in?

Ooooo… that’s a good one. It could be illegal, but who would know you did it?

      Good point Liza!

Definitely not illegal! You may actually be able to switch the entire cord out for a plug-in style, depending on how the cord connects to the shade. Otherwise, you’d have to wire a plug on. Not sure if you guys have been doing electrical work, but if you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourselves, a place that does lamp repair should be able to do it pretty cheaply.

LOVE the lamp, by the way. And the room in the photo, too. I wonder what that gray paint is…

Great idea Anna! We have a lamp store right around the corner from us so I’ll give them a call.

We’ve been trying to match that paint color for what feels like an eternity. The closest we’ve come is a Benjamin Moore color called Revere Pewter (saw in an NY Times article) but even that’s just a tad too beige.

  3. Don’t you love discovering something you’ve been coveting?! I absolutely adore that light. Might need to purchase one as well.
