Upcoming Project Inspiration: Cupboards

Loving these wallpapered cupboards (why do I misspell that word every time I type it?) and am getting excited to try this out at home! Can’t decide between painting and wallpaper but I’ve never put up wallpaper so I’m not sure if this is an overwhelming task or an easy one… ? Anyone ever wallpaper a cabinet before?

The inspiration is gorgeous. I especially love the Nickey Kehoe one. I’ve never wallpapered anything, but I imagine the back of a cabinet wouldn’t be so hard. Happy weekend to you.

I wallpapered an Ikea Billy cabinet with glass doors, in my mother’s house. It was my first time. Wasn’t really that hard, but the wallpaper wasn’t of highest quality and neither was the glue. I got some minor bubbling that drove me crazy but it was completely unnoticeable once the shelves were in. It looks pretty amazing now, I say go for it!
We have wallpapered several cupboards now. It’s a piece of cake if you have the right glue.
It is also a much less laborous way of finishing MDF (tip) (less laborous than priming and painting I mean). We made an entire closet with wallpapered MDF.
