We want your trash
Things are moving along fast, and that means it's time for two things -- furnishings and countertops. I'm sure Nathan's thinking about other things, like plaster work and refinishing the floors, windows, doors, etc.., but I'm already on to furnishings and countertops! Sweet.
So here's the thing... I like old things. Used things. One's trash is another's treasure, and I'm just that person who wants such "trash." Things I'm looking for specifically, but not limited to by any means, are... chairs, tables, bookshelves, or any old furniture. I would love a library ladder, but think that's probably a stretch on my part. Old cider jars are also of appeal to me, and the larger the better. There is also the matter of our countertops, which we'd like to make out of used materials, so any salvaged wood or other material would be great. No formica please.

This is Doug. We have several potential items left over from our rehab that could make a good addition to your home. Old doors (stripped and all) we did not use, Cobalt blue Subway tile (could make funky countertop decoration or backsplash in Kitchen), etc. This will all be thrown out sometime soon so if you want to take a look let me know...
